Calm Waters – WPC:H2O
For the Weekly Photo Challenge subject of H2O I am once again spending time at Lake Calhoun / Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis.
The leaves are changing colors. The boats are slowly disappearing from the mooring balls one by one. And the geese are departing for their winter home.
Thanks to graydaysandcoffee for creating iPhriday showcasing phone photos – I’m looking forward to her return from a blog break.
Beautiful pictures!! I particularly enjoy the top one with the boats in it!

Thanks – this lake provides endless photo ops for me so they pop up often here.

Thanks – and I can’t help but mention that I now have access to the St Paul Library thru my Hennepin Co. library card. I will never be bookless (audio or e-book) again throughout my travels!

great photos… enjoy your weekend by the lake – I am a few hundred miles east of you and my lake is not calm, but one day it will be… but the water is restorative. peace.

Minnesota is blessed with so many lakes, creeks, and rivers. I’ve been enjoying them tremendously this summer.

Peaceful water looks mighty good to me after having had a visit from Hurricane Matthew!

That’s partly why I chose these photos. The devastation in Haiti is horrific and Florida definitely was fortunate for how bad it could have been.
