Only a Ghost Remains
I was so looking forward to spending a full season together but not long after our arrival I could tell something was wrong.
This year I would be just down the street so thought I would have plenty of opportunities to take photos as I ran or biked around the lake. I snapped my first shot early in May as the landscape was green and lush.
Soon, though, the color wasn’t right and I knew then the inevitable would be happening.
And now it has. One of my favorite trees in Minneapolis has been marked for removal.
By Autumn, only a ghost will remain.
