Picture Postcard – Loveland Pass Colorado
Tough to find enough air up here for us flatlanders.
Cycling across mountain passes is made extra hard when you are at altitude. The locals seemed to take it in stride as they steadily pedaled passed us as we rode what is called The Triple Bypass Ride. Each of two days is 120 miles with over 10,000 feet of climbing. Let’s just say it was brutal but the scenic Colorado Rockies can keep your mind mildly distracted while it’s repeating the mantra “Shut Up Legs!”
Welcome to a new series of travel postcards that I’ll be posting once a week. Click on the card for a larger view.
