iPhriday – In the Gardens of Los Angeles

This week has been filled with flowers and gardens.

Saturday we rode our bikes to the Exposition Park Rose Garden. Located in South LA, Exposition Park is home to the California Science Center, the California African American Museum and the Natural History Museum. Tuesday we ventured south to San Pedro and the South Coast Botanic Gardens to see Nature Connects. (Huge Lego sculptures are placed throughout the gardens.)

The iPhriday Challenge has me trying to better compose in the phone instead of relying so heavily on cropping after the fact. Here is a selection of ‘as is’ photos from our travels to gardens in Los Angeles.

Although she is taking a break from her blog, thanks to graydaysandcoffee for creating iPhriday showcasing phone photos. I, for one, am looking forward to her return to the blogosphere.
