Picture Postcard – Toledo Spain
Toledo’s long and varied history blends into a fascinating city.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam have all figured prominently in Toledo’s past, warranting it’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Complementing this history is the updated restaurant and lodging offerings recognized by travel guides such as The Guardian. My personal favorite was Madre Tierra – the vegetarian menu was a refreshing change in a country famous for its jamon.
Welcome to a new series of travel postcards that I’ll be posting twice a week. Click on the card for a larger view.
