Picture Postcard – British Virgin Islands
The seas are calm within the protected Sir Francis Drake Channel.
The British Virgin Islands are world-renowned for their “beginner friendly” sailing. For our first solo trip we visited during shoulder season in May when the water is calm and the weather is warm and humid. A great chance to experience the islands with fewer crowds. Snorkeling spots abound and the marina nightlife make for memorable vacations.
Welcome to a new series of travel postcards that I’ll be posting twice a week. Click on the card for a larger view.
