Picture Postcard – Tucson, Arizona
Iconic, mystical, and found only in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and northern Mexico.
This Saguaro cactus welcomes visitors to it’s natural habitat safeguarded for future generations within Saguaro National Park. The distinctive branches generally appear when a cactus is between 50 and 70 years old. Surrounding the city of Tucson, the Saguaro National Park consists of Tucson Mountain District on the west and the Rincon Mountain District on the east.
Welcome to a new series of travel postcards that I’ll be posting twice a week. Click on the card for a larger view.
