Picture Postcard – Minneapolis, Minnesota
Wait a minute, I’ve seen this sculpture before…
The Minneapolis Institute of Art recently installed this large-scale work by Polish-born artist, Igor Mitoraj. This version is titled Eros (1999) and is related to the Eros Bendato (Eros Bound) located in Krakow, Poland’s market square that I featured in a previous postcard you can see here. Eros, the Greek god of love, seems a little worse for wear in this version.
